From The Street Up: Part 3 — In the third and final installment of our three-part series following skateboarder Casper Brooker around the 2015 Nike SB Euro Series we explore frustration, style and ambition in free-living cities Berlin and Copenhagen.

It’s tradeshow week in Berlin and the global skate community have descended on the party city for brands and beers and the Berlin Open – the third stop of the Nike Euro Series 2015.

In the third episode of From The Street Up, shot by Dan Magee and John Fisher, we catch up with London skateboarder Casper Brooker as he navigates the former Soviet streets, making observations on style, skill and determination – the triumvirate of where contemporary skateboarding is at right now.

From there we tag along with Casper as he hits Copenhagen for the CPH Open, an iconic comp in the annual skate calendar that sees America’s finest take up residence in the spot-heavy Danish capital.

At the end of our time with Casper (sob) the upcoming skater reflects on a life spent chasing tricks – what does it mean to be a skateboarder in 2015? Where’s the culture headed? Why get up after every fall? The dream, it transpires, is sweeter when fought for.

The Nike Euro Series 2015 is over for another year. Join us for more fun and shenanigans in 2016!
